Fur skin sourcing (Update: 2/FEB/2004)

In order to lower the cost of our fur product, we are now purchasing the china raw skin and the overseas raw skin direct from the market places in the northern part of China and the overseas auctions respectively.

The raw skin purchased at the bottom prices by the above ways are being delivered not only for our factory in Shenzen but also to other factories in Da Lian and other areas depending on buyers requirements such as cost, quality, lead time and so on.

By separating the sourcing and the production clearly, cost of our fur products have been lowered very much. the greater part of the cost for the fur products, as you may know, is the cost of the raw skin. we are understanding that the skin cost could be more than 85% against the product cost; it is all depending on the market price when the raw material is purchased.

The China raw skin generally fall in price in February and March, and these 2 months, we think, are the best period to purchase. further, volume of hairs are much more than the raw skin purchased in other months as the animals available in the period are killed in January and February when temprature there is very low.

We are starting to purcase the raw skin for our own stock, but it wil be limited; any party who wish to purchase at the lowest price in one year, please feel free to contact us.
